Participant Meeting Schedule for all Participants:
Leadership, Implementer, Organizational & Supporter

Meeting Schedule: There are four types of Showcase meetings for the technical or marketing leaders at your organization and these are listed below. We highly encourage both technical & marketing staff attend all calls when available so both parties are aware of the upcoming deadlines and deliverables. If you have any questions please contact the Showcase team at interoperabilityshowcase@himss.org.

Register in advance: Please remember to register in advance of each webinar so we can start on-time. The registration process is quick & simple - all you need to do is click on the links in the table below to register.

* Mandatory attendance on this call is required as outlined in your contract with HIMSS. The Showcase Planning Webinars require attendance on one of the two dates listed for each month.

 

Showcase Marketing Webinars for all Participants: Leadership, Implementer, Organizational & Supporter

Dates: October 27 or December 15, 2010.
Attendance is Optional.

Showcase Marketing Webinars: The HIMSS Showcase staff will be offering two Marketing Webinars to walk participants through all the HIMSS Showcase marketing resources and provide you with new and innovative ideas to leverage your time and participation at the HIMSS Interoperability. Monthly Planning Webinars for all Onsite Participants: Leadership, Implementer & Organizational

Timeframe: October 2010 through February 2011
Attendance is mandatory on these calls.

Monthly Planning Webinars: The Showcase team will host a five (5) mandatory Showcase Monthly Planning Webinars. These calls have been designed to serve as “check-points” to ensure all participants are up-to-date with their preparations and deliverables for participation in the Showcase.

All sessions are mandatory, registration is required, and attendance will be taken. Participants that fail to take part may be excluded from Showcase scenario tours.

Monthly Planning Webinar Expectations:

  • Mandatory Technical & Marketing Attendance: All participants must attend one of the two scheduled sessions for each of the five (5) monthly Planning Webinars. 
    • Marketing staff- Required to attend the first 30 minutes of the call to cover all marketing updates.
    • Technical staff- Required to attend the full 90 minute webinar to hear all marketing and technical updates.
  • Register in advance! Please use the links listed in the Meeting Schedule online to register in advance.
  • Respecting your time. We respect your time and commitment to attending the Monthly Planning webinar calls and will start and end all calls promptly. If we do not have sufficient information to cover for the full ninety minutes will dismiss the call early.

 

Technical Teleconferences for all Connected Demonstration Participants: Leadership & Implementer

Timeline: December 2010
Attendance is mandatory on these calls.

New Technical Teleconferences: This year the Showcase Technical Project Manager, John Donnelly, will be hosting five to seven (5-7) technical teleconferences that will last ninety (90) minute in length. Each teleconference will discuss five of the HIMSS11 Showcase Use Cases in detail.

Purpose: The purpose of these calls is to review the Use Cases, clinical content transaction data, meet the HIMSS Use Case Coordinator, and review the HIMSS Showcase Use Case checklist for your specific Use Case on the call.

Technical Teleconferences Expectations:

  • Scheduling: Five (5) ninety minute teleconferences will be schedule in December 2010. Schedule will be announced in November 2010.
  • Mandatory Technical Attendance: Technical staff are required to attend the webinars that will detail the specific Use Cases their organization has been assigned to demonstrate at the HIMSS11 Interoperability Showcase.
  • Register in advance! Please use the links listed in the Meeting Schedule online to register in advance.

What Use Case has my organization been assigned? A final detailed review of the HIMSS11 Use Case roles and vendor assignments will be analyzed for balance and gaps throughout October 2010. One-on-one calls with vendors will be conducted as necessary in the event of any conflicts or special situations. The final list of assignments will be sent to the HIMSS11 Showcase Connected Demonstration participants at the start of November 2011.
