HIMSS11 Interoperability Showcase™
Orlando, FL | February 21 – 24, 2011
Participant Overview:
Who Should Participate in the HIMSS11 Interoperability Showcase?
Participation is limited to healthcare IT vendors, non-profit organizations and government agencies* that support interoperability and/or have proven their ability to successfully demonstrate interoperability through the adoption of systems built using technical frameworks developed by Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) and other national initiatives such as HITSP and ONC-recognized standards in the U.S.
Health IT product/solution vendors: If your company develops standards-based interoperable healthcare IT products and is committed to supporting the continued growth and success of health IT interoperability, then your company should participate. Showcase participants benefit from the thousands of prospective buyers, end-users, media and thought leaders who visit the HIMSS11 Interoperability Showcase each year.
Population health organizations and agencies: HIMSS welcomes the non-profit agencies and organizations from across the globe that support standards-based interoperability and participate in HIMSS Interoperability Showcases. Participating in a HIMSS Interoperability Showcase provides non-profit agencies and organizations with a unique venue to share their message, build awareness and work together in support of expanding uptake and successful effective use of the standards-based interoperable health IT.
Benefits of Participation
Benefits of Participation for Vendors
- Makes Interoperability Real: Your systems are featured in a neutral setting demonstrating compelling, realistic, clinically-accurate examples that draw thousands of visitors. The benefits of this environment are tremendous. Potential buyers and end-users enjoy the unique opportunity to experience real-time, real-data transactions and can envision how this technology will benefit their own healthcare environment.
Benefits of Participation for Non-Profit Organizations and Government Agencies and HIT initiatives
- Sets your Organization, Agency or Initiative apart: Dozens of prestigious organizations participate annually in the Showcase because they value the opportunity to expand their marketing reach. Organizations, not a part of the Connected Demonstration area, are located in open approachable stations that frame the live Connected Demonstration area.
