Participant Guide

HIMSS Will Provide

A premier 34,000-sq-ft HIMSS exhibit holding demonstrations focused on hot topics in the interoperability landscape. Thought leaders participate by demonstrating their work integrating standards.

  • Dedicated HIMSS staff member
  • Access to HIMSS Sharepoint to share documentation
  • Monthly calls, starting in November 2016, to review progress and allow for questions
  • Written approval of media within one (1) week of published deadlines
  • Demonstration area determined by your contract 
  • Monitor, electric, wired networking and carpet
  • Logo placement near your demonstration area, in the HIMSS17 Resource Guide, conference signage, websites and other marketing materials as available
  • One-on-one meeting with Manager and Lead Technical Project Manager to determine placement within a use case
  • Weekly meetings with your Use Case Technical Project Manager to develop your demonstration, starting in November 2016
  • Face-to-face meeting on January 26– 27, 2017 in Cleveland, Ohio • Monitor upgraded to 32’’
  • One (1) laptop stand and one (1) chair per vendor 
  • Invitation to have use case highlighted during VIP tours, community tours and international delegations 
  • Invitation to attend and participate in demo during evening reception and breakfast networking events for targeted conference attendees 

Participant Will Provide

A premier 34,000-sq-ft HIMSS exhibit that displays, in real time, data exchange and use of data through all interoperability profiles and standards with live products currently in the marketplace.

  • Logo in EPS format at contracting
  • Contact list for all involved staff (marketing and technical) at contracting that includes responsibility for each system
  • Review HIMSS Sharepoint site weekly for announcements
  • Meet media requirements by distributed deadlines
  • One (1) staff member present on all monthly calls 
  • Necessary equipment for demonstration – including but not limited to cables, laptop and other equipment
  • Organizations demonstrating an IHE Profile must have tested at any global IHE Connectathon within the past 12 months prior to the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase
  • Preference for placement in use case (option available until September 1, 2016)
  • One (1) staff per system at face-to-face meeting on January 26–27, 2017 in Cleveland, Ohio
  • One (1) staff present on all weekly use case calls, starting in November 2016
  • One (1) staff member per use case on site for setup on February 18–19, 2017, 9:00 am EST
  • Cables and equipment to connect to provided electric and wired network**
  • Two (2) staff per use case on site February 20–22, 2017, during exhibit hall hours
