HIMSS19 Education Theater Details

Speaking at the HIMSS Interoperability is a premier level sponsorship benefit. We thank you for your participation and support of this collaborative project. We look forward to learning from you and sharing your thought leadership with the attendees of HIMSS19.

The Interoperability Showcase Education Theater is a premier location on the exhibit floor with over 140 seats. Your session can be up to (1) hour long. We suggest using half of this time for content and using the remaining half for networking and discussion. We welcome a variety of formats such as presentations as well as panels and Q&A.. Please contact Bronwen Huron if you have any questions or ideas. We are here to support your successful presentation!

Content

The Interoperability Showcase utilizes content based marketing.

  • All presentations in the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase must be focused on interoperability and the value of your organization.
  • It cannot be a sales pitch or a demo of a product.
  • It can be offered to a client.

 

Please ensure that HIMSS has all of the following

  • November 21, 2018: Please provide your Session title which can be no more than 15 words/75 charcters by email to Showcase@himss.org . Your title will be included in print. Please ensure that the logo that appears on this page is the logo you would like to represent you.

  • December 15, 2018: Please provide your speaker(s) information which should include: Speaker name, credentials, email, speaker title, organization, onsite phone number, and bio picture.  You may have up to 8 speakers. If you require more, please contact bhuron@himss.org.

  • By this date we would also need a working description of the overall presentation. Please submit all information to Showcase@himss.org, If any of this information needs to change after this date please contact us. Failure to submit this content by December 15 will result in a delay of posting your session to the HIMSS website for attendees to schedule into their agenda. 

  • February 6, 2018: Speaker Slides must be submitted here
    • Slides must be on the HIMSS19 Interoperability Showcase slide deck and in 16:9 format. Slides will not be accepted on other deck. Templates will be available later this fall. 
    • Once submitted, these will be reviewed. You will be notified that they have been approved and that copy will be provided to our AV team onsite.
    • Slides will be posted after conference on the www.himssconference.org site as well as www.interoperabilityshowcase.org

Onsite Schedule

  • Practice Day: Speakers will be able to come to the exhibit hall and practice their sessions Monday, February 11, between: 3pm-5pm ET.
  • Day of presentation: Please meet at our education theater no later than 30 minutes before your session. There will be no a podium.
